Daddy's Caddy!

James is loving the golf course these days or should I say loving the ride in the golf cart! I think he's going to be an outdoorsman.  Thanks Ryan for the pic!  It looks very professional-golf club prop & all...

My First Swim (In my baby pool)

James took his first dive this afternoon in his Crazy Crab Spray Pool (minus the spray, mommy's got to work on that).  Thank you Papaw & Gigi for my pool.  It was great fun and I wore myself out!  We look forward to more little swims in the future.

Our First Overnight Trip

Birthday Present: $35.00; Gas to Dallas: $60.00; Hotel Room: $100.00
Back in Texarkana on our normal sleep schedule: Priceless

We headed to Dallas last weekend for Luke's 3rd B-day (can't believe he's so big)!  James had lots of fun playing with his cousins, attending a birthday party and experiencing his first hotel room....until bedtime...let's just say us all in the same room means "Pick me up Mama or Daddy; I don't like my Pack n' Play!"

James's Baby Dedication at Trinity

We were sooooo tired!  James and Mommy had been up twice in the night with teething crying sessions and James and Daddy woke up at 5:30 a.m., but in spite of it all, James did really well.  He was mesmerized by the lights in the sanctuary. Our associate pastor said his name wrong “John Thomas,” but God knows his name! :-)  We thank our family for being there.  Here are a few pics.

6 Month Check Up

James had his 6 month check up yesterday and all is well! He weighs 17lbs., 14 oz. (50th percentile) and is 27 ¼” in length (75th percentile). We are so excited about all the new things we can do these days. He is now crawling forward (slowly but surely) and sitting up for good periods of time. We’ve also had to lower his mattress; he is trying hard to stand up! (Scary!) He loves being outside and is fascinated by the wind blowing things. Below are a few recent pics. Life is Good!
