"Of all the animals, the boy is the most unmanageable." ~ Plato

James is having a big time these days.  He has taken as many as 8 steps, but has not quite committed to the whole idea of walking.  He has, however, committed to his favorite new past time: climbing, anything and everything.  I'm fairly certain we may have started a bad habit with allowing him to climb all over the couch.  Now he thinks this should be a part of his daily routine. :-)  Pics Below!

"Do you have a Wal-Mart here?" Lucas Sutterfield, Age: almost 3

James & I were thrilled to host my dear friend, Mari, and her kiddos, Zoe, age 4, and Lucas, almost 3, for an overnight visit.  They had the funniest statements and questions and played so sweet with Baby James or aka "Jamie," as they kept calling him :-). Thank you for the visit!  It was so fun!  Here are a few pics of Zoe and James trying on hats at Dillards.  I don't think James is a hat man at the moment.

A friend is like a rainbow. They brighten your life when you've been through a storm.

Suzanne & Caroline, our great friends that recently moved back to AR, came for a sleepover last weekend.  Although Suzanne and I took care of the babies as usual, it was a much needed visit!  Here are the babies at bathtime.

Couldn't resist James's face on this one! :-)

Parents Just Don't Understand or Do They?

My parents (I'm guessing late 80's, early 90's by the fab attire) or lovingly referred to now as "Gigi" & "Papaw."

Just this week, James has begun to understand the word "No" and just this morning, gave me a look like "Why No?" Isn't it amazing when you become a parent how much you appreciate your parents and begin to understand their love, sacrifices and infinite wisdom.  Amazingly, they do understand! :-)  Loving, caring parents are a gift from God and I am blessed!  Although parents consist of both Mama & Daddy, I reserve the rest of my post as a tribute to my mother.  As you scroll below, I ask you say a special prayer as she continues to battle cancer.  Please pray for a miracle of healing. --Kim
