House Party

The hazy days of winter and a busy two year old require a little creativity. Luckily for me and James, there are some great websites with clever ideas to keep us busy. I really like Play at Home Mom, http://www.playathomemom3.blogspot.com/  We made a list, headed to the craft store and let the fun begin...

Christmas 2011

James's reaction to Christmas and Santa was more wonderful and fun than I dreamed!  We heard a lot of "Whews" & "Wows" and saw big big smiles.  Our Christmas gifts were complete!

On Christmas Eve James got to open one gift.  (I couldn't let Santa get all the credit.)

"Woody!"

Santa...

"Whew....a whole train set!"  Love his eyes on this one!

Rocking with Elmo.

Stocking....

"Ratatouille, Mommy."

Medical kit

I'm sure we won't get this reaction about clothes in a few years. :-)

Cash register from Grandmother & Grandpa....one of his favorite gifts.

James had a big wow for every gift, big or small!
(Aunt Kimberly in the background, love her expression too!)

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

The holidays have been super fun so far this year.  James is enjoying lots of time with family and friends.  He is old enough now to start enjoying a few activities and we are taking advantage!  His favorite new movie is "Woody"  (aka Toy Story).  He is loving all the holiday festivities, especially dancing as he sings "Jingle bells, all the way.  Jingle bells, all the way!"  For Randall & I, watching James and being with James brings us more joy than anything!  Here are lots of pictures of our recent adventures!

At Little Rock Zoo.  James' first zoo experience.  He says the elephants were his favorite.

Watching the penguins.

"Lion, Mama."

Bath with cousin Livy over Thanksgiving.

Decorating Grandmother's tree with cousins, Reese and Peyton.

Playing trucks round & round & round with cousin Luke at Grandmother's house. Oops, Crash!

In Branson with our very good friends, The Nicholas Family.  James & Caroline looking at waterfalls.

Caroline and James watching tv at the cabin.

Daddy, Mommy & James on the Polar Express Train Ride.

Watching for Santa.

Yum. Hot Chocolate!

I love this train ride!

All bundled up, Mommy & James watching the Christmas parade at Silver Dollar City.

Now, we can't wait for Santa!!!
